2021 | Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Box

Prototype

Prototype Details
This idea uses the metaphor of imagining the earth as a massive interior space. Although the numbers of greenhouse gas emissions are massively presented, the air pollution won't be easily noticeable or visible in reality as the earth is enormously wide open. Therefore, to transform "Melbourne CBD" into a cubicle space based on the ratio of Melbourne's land cover from the earth.
After that, creating few different holes below the cubicle to represent different emission sectors, the algorithmic driven smoking system calculates the ratio difference of each sector, releasing the smoke based on the amount of greenhouse gas emission that they would generate.
