The mirror is essential in every household. However, traditional full-length mirrors aren't attractive or interactive with all users. Additionally, you've probably seen a lot of foam spray mirrors/trendy mirrors on Instagram/Tiktok recently. So, Instead of purchasing a brand new full-length mirror or DIY foam spray mirror, let's use some very LOW-COST materials and refurbish your full-length mirror. It is aesthetically pleasing and easy to make. It can turn into instagrammable decor for your room.

Material used
1. FULL-LENGTH MIRROR
A newly purchased mirror is not necessary as the frame will be covered with acid-free paper. A second-hand mirror from Marketplace or gumtree will be ideal as we’re reusing unwanted mirror to create new sparks on it at a reasonable price.

2. ACID-FREE PAPER (WRAPPING PAPER)
Acid-free paper can be obtained easily if you have the habit of purchasing online. Retailers will usually use it as an obstacle to prevent any products or fragile items from wobbling in the package. Therefore, it can be collected in advance when purchasing goods online and avoid unnecessary costs on the acid-free paper.
3. HOT GLUE GUN
Hot glue gun can be substituted with other sticking agents such as uhu glue or double-sided tape. However, hot glue gun will be preferable if it could be cleaned or removed easily without scratching the frame.
STEP

Cut the wrapping paper into half if your wrapping paper size is too big.

Then, lightly rubbing the paper.

Use a glue gun and stick the middle point of the paper along the mirror frame. For a better effect you may apply some glue in between the folded area to retain the shape.

Next, use glue gun to glue the junction will hold the shape more stable. If you’re unhappy with the shape you may remove it instantly, the advantage of using a glue gun is it can be removed easily with finger rub without leaving any stain.

Freely adjusting the shape as the design should be irregular, more flexible.
TIPS

Pre-rubbing the paper will save some time during the making process, and make sure when you fold the paper freely, it doesn't need to be the same pattern for all the paper.

Remember to place a larger size of cardboard or any unwanted boxes underneath, to prevent any floor or carpet damaged from the hot glue gun.
